Show the real business

Choose media that accurately represents the customer experience.

This lesson is ready to read and practise. English narration is awaiting production and source review; Thai narration follows next.

Understand

Good profile media helps customers recognise the business and understand the experience they can expect. Choose authentic, relevant views of the exterior, interior, team, work or offerings as appropriate. A clear entrance photograph serves a different purpose from a product photograph. Use media you have permission to publish, without exposing private customer details or misrepresenting the location.

Review what is already present before adding more. Check whether the imagery reflects today's business, and choose the missing view that answers a useful customer question. An upload receipt proves that media was submitted; it does not prove Google displays it publicly or chooses it as the cover. Inspect its status and public visibility separately. Photo research in a playbook is not a guaranteed improvement for your business.

Practice example

A fictional cafe moved its entrance. Prepare an authentic photograph of the new doorway, upload only with permission, and retain a dated submission receipt before checking whether the public profile shows it.

RIM coaching: Name the customer question each image answers. Record upload and visibility separately, then replace imagery when the real business changes.

Which media best represents the business?

Apply to your business

Review authentic exterior, interior, work, team or product imagery as applicable. Upload relevant media through the profile if authorized.

Keep proof of your work

Media identifiers or dated screenshots showing what was added; distinguish uploads from items visible publicly.

A saved note is an owner report. Evidence is checked separately; keep drafts, applied changes and public observations distinct.

Check what changed
