Test your booking or order path

Help customers reach a working destination without confusing links and integrated buttons.

This lesson is ready to read and practise. English narration is awaiting production and source review; Thai narration follows next.

Understand

Restaurant ordering and reservation routes should lead to the correct restaurant and current service. A direct menu, ordering or reservation URL is different from an integrated provider button. Check the actual controls and any existing eligible provider setup before proposing changes. An available direct route can be useful without buying a new reservation or ordering service.

Follow each relevant link from discovery to its destination. Confirm the restaurant location, pickup or delivery option, reservation details and next step. Where supported, review which provider or link is preferred with the owner. Do not submit an order, reserve a table or make a payment to finish the lesson. Record broken, unrelated and unavailable routes honestly, then inspect any authorised correction separately.

Practice example

A fictional cafe's delivery link opens its former location. Document the destination problem, check the current owner-confirmed ordering URL, and propose the correction without placing an order.

RIM coaching: Keep ordering and reservations as separate tests. Record the URL, date and outcome, and ask the owner before changing a preferred provider.

Practise

How can you establish that a booking link works?

Apply to your business

Test the relevant booking, order or appointment link from discovery to the destination. Record missing or unavailable integrations honestly.

Keep proof of your work

A dated destination test and current link or button observation; no purchase is required.

A saved note is an owner report. Evidence is checked separately; keep drafts, applied changes and public observations distinct.

Check what changed

Recheck the destination and comparable inquiry data when available.
