Understand
Hotel free booking links can show a route to book an available rate. Google does not charge for this placement or its clicks; a connectivity provider may charge for its own service. Ask whether the hotel's current booking system already sends rates to Google. Do not confuse an ordinary website link, an active rate feed and paid Hotel Ads.
If a rate is present, compare the same stay, occupancy, room and conditions with the booking destination, including applicable taxes and fees. Record the date and what is actually bookable. If no connection exists, make an owner-reviewed assessment instead of purchasing a service to finish the course. The playbook's conditional case-study figures are not a booking forecast for this property.
Practice example
For a fictional hotel, compare a displayed two-night rate with its direct booking page for the same stay and guests. Record a mismatch and its source; do not complete a reservation.
