Confirm useful attributes

Distinguish verified amenities from assumptions.

This written lesson is currently in English. Thai lesson translations and narration are planned.

This lesson is ready to read and practise. English narration is awaiting production and source review; Thai narration follows next.

Understand

Hotel amenities and attributes help guests understand what the property provides. Review the available fields against the actual facilities, such as parking, a pool or pet arrangements. Do not infer that a feature is included for every room or every guest. A selected amenity and a highlight Google chooses to show publicly are different things.

Confirm the details with the person responsible for the property, including any restrictions a guest needs to know. Use only the supported fields; put additional useful conditions in appropriate hotel information rather than inventing a toggle. Retain the confirmed facts and inspect the saved values after an authorised update. Google does not guarantee a particular highlight icon or resulting click increase for every property.

Practice example

A fictional hotel's pool is temporarily unavailable. Confirm the current facility status with the owner, review the supported amenity controls, and preserve the proposed correction separately from the accepted public information.

RIM coaching: Check amenities after operational changes. Record confirmed facts, saved values and public highlights separately so guests do not rely on an assumption.
