Publish an accurate service catalog

Use real services and the allowed custom-service format.

This lesson is ready to read and practise. English narration is awaiting production and source review; Thai narration follows next.

Understand

A service catalogue explains the work customers can request. Review Google's suggested services and any supported custom-service controls against the business's real activities. A service title should name the service clearly, not carry a phone number, personal information or a price. Use separate description and pricing fields where offered, following the editor's rules.

Describe what is included and any important conditions using owner-confirmed facts. An estimate should not become a guaranteed fixed price simply because it appears in a draft. Use the current catalogue as your source and remove obsolete services through supported controls when authorised. The service list and the business's service area answer different customer questions; completing one does not establish the accuracy of the other.

Practice example

A fictional plumber offers tap repairs but no longer installs boilers. Prepare a factual repair entry and an obsolete-service correction, placing confirmed pricing in the appropriate field rather than the custom title.

RIM coaching: Check the scope and price with the owner. Retain a reviewed draft and record its application separately when the profile has actually been changed.

The confirmed catalog and a dated profile observation, or a reviewed draft.
