Describe the real business
Write a useful description grounded in confirmed facts.
This written lesson is currently in English. Thai lesson translations and narration are planned.
This lesson is ready to read and practise. English narration is awaiting production and source review; Thai narration follows next.
Understand
A description gives customers a clear account of the business: what it offers, who it serves and what distinguishes it in factual terms. Google's description field permits up to 750 characters. Use confirmed information and ordinary language. Keep links, irrelevant material and a focus on prices or promotions out of the description, following the current representation policy.
Draft before editing. Check each claim with the owner or a reliable business source, and remove superlatives that you cannot support. Your website's longer explanation can hold details that do not belong here. A saved draft demonstrates preparation; only a dated observation of the accepted profile demonstrates what customers can read. Google's processing of an edit is separate from your writing work.
Practice example
For a fictional repair shop, describe bicycle servicing and its confirmed workshop location. Remove 'the city's number one repair shop' unless there is defensible evidence and the wording meets Google's policy.
RIM coaching: Read the draft aloud as a customer. Could they explain what the business actually does? Keep the reviewed draft and the later public read-back separate.

Keep proof of your work
The reviewed text plus the dated applied value, or a clearly labelled draft.
A saved note is an owner report. Evidence is checked separately; keep drafts, applied changes and public observations distinct.
